Finding a Reputable Breeder A reputable breeder feels a sense of responsibility for the dogs they bring into the world and for the breed in general.
Please note: many articles on finding a reputable breeder (including the CKC) suggest visiting the home of the breeder and/or the kennel where you are thinking of buying your puppy from. A number of breeders shy away from allowing people to handle their puppies until after the pups have been vaccinated. Although it would be nice to allow everyone who wanted to come and see our pups full access to them, it is just not feasible with the number of requests that we get and the potential risk involved.
